Cirque du Canines, an acrobatic adventure for the whole family, comes to Millikin's Kirkland Fine Arts Center

DECATUR, Ill. -- Dancing dogs, acrobatic trainers, heartwarming moments and a performing chicken take the  stage on September 20 at 2 p.m. CDT. 

 is the collaboration of former Ringling touring performer, Gail Mirabella, and longtime trick dog performer, Michelle Harrell. With a shared vision of what a dog circus should look and feel like, they have combined their talents, dogs, and ideas to create an exciting performance for the stage.

鈥淐irque du Canines brings a fantastical journey,鈥 says Harrell. 鈥淒ynamic routines, freestyle frisbee, high jump, dog dancing, comedy, lively music, colorful costumes, and truly something for everyone to enjoy.鈥   

Cirque Du CaninesMade up of a 15-dog troop, canine-lovers can expect jaw-dropping stunts, exciting routines and heartwarming moments between these trainers and their four-legged friends. For this performance, Cirque du Canines welcomes special guest Lauren Frazier and her performing chicken to join them on stage.
