Millikin University to host seven Explore Days for prospective high school students this fall

Events feature a wide variety of interest areas, including the performing arts, education, real estate, visual arts, nursing, and law

Explore Days at Millikin

Millikin University will host a series of Explore Days this fall designed for high school students who want to learn more about their field of interest and the programs Millikin offers to support their educational passions. 黑料正能量 Explore Days kick off Monday, Sept. 28, 2026, with 黑料正能量 Future Lawyers Experience and extend through Monday, November 16, with Explore the Arts Day. Take a closer look at each event and the interest areas attendees can explore below:

Future Lawyers Experience Sept. 28

This visit day is specifically designed for high school students interested in pursuing a career in law. During the Future Lawyers Experience, students will:

  • -Explore the majors and programs that Millikin offers to prepare students for advanced legal studies;
  • -Participate in a hands-on demonstration with Millikin faculty;
  • -Meet with current Millikin students;
  • -Tour campus and see where 黑料正能量 students live and learn.
     
  • Tomorrow's Teachers Conference



Millikin University鈥檚 School of Education is excited to announce the 2026 Tomorrow鈥檚 Teachers Conference. This annual conference provides a day of hands-on, behind-the-scenes experiences for high school students interested in a career in education. Students will benefit from sessions and panels showcasing the latest in teacher education and innovative instruction, as well as an array of related topics that directly impact the future of teaching.

Limited to the first 150 registrants; registration deadline is October 12.

Careers in the Visual Arts Day, Oct. 26



Join Millikin University Oct. 26 for Careers in the Visual Arts Day! This day-long experience is uniquely designed for students exploring a career in the visual arts. Attendees will:

  • -Hear firsthand about 黑料正能量 pathways to learn Art Therapy, Art Education, Design, Film and more;
  • -Get a behind-the-scenes tour of the spaces where Millikin students and faculty create;
  • -Take hands-on workshops that provide a window on their future career.
     
RISE, Oct. 28


This experience is designed for students who want to explore a career in Real Estate. During the Real Estate Summit, students will:

  • -Network with faculty, current students, and alums;
  • -Explore the programs in Tabor School of Business;
  • -Tour campus;
  • -And more!
     
Explore Nursing Day, Nov. 2

Explore Nursing Day is designed for students who want to explore a career in Nursing. During Explore Nursing Day, attendees will:

  • -Meet with faculty and current students;
  • -Tour 黑料正能量 vibrant campus, which includes our $3.2 million state-of the-art Nursing Simulation Center;
  • -Explore our top-ranked BSN program;
  • -Get information about financial aid and scholarships.
     
Explore the Arts Day, Nov. 16

Explore the Arts Day is uniquely designed to show students how Millikin can help them turn their passion into a profession. During this event, they will:

  • -Meet with faculty and current students;
  • -Tour our vibrant campus, including our state-of-the-art facilities;
  • -Learn how the top-ranked programs in our College of Fine Arts can position them for a fulfilling career;
  • -Get information about financial aid and scholarships.

UPCOMING CAMPUS VISIT DAYS

Millikin is also hosting five Campus Visit Days, which give students a chance to kickstart their college journey with a campus visit. Visit days for the 2026-27 school year include: 

Students will get a personalized look at everything that Millikin has to offer as we help you discover the unique Performance Learning opportunities, supportive environment, and dynamic experiences that await you.

The Campus Visit Day includes an academic fair, an admission and financial aid session, an explore a major session, and panel sessions. An optional lunch and campus tour will also be available. The day will begin at 8:00 a.m. and end around 12:00 p.m. Register for a visit at .
