Management Information Systems students have the opportunity to run their own IT consulting venture, MU Performance Consulting, where students secure clients in the community, perform analysis and build technical solutions to solve real business problems. Students work in the business as well as on the business, developing projects while managing accounting records and human resources. Students get paid for their client work and partner with an advisory board of experienced Millikin alumni (learn more at ). Millikin students also have access to a dedicated, restricted-access computer lab, virtual environments, IoT devices and enterprise-grade software.
